As I left for work the other morning, this scene caught my eye. Someone had dressed up our yellow fire hydrant in the front yard for the winter weather. I stopped and took this picture so that I could show it to Husband...and of course, post it on the blog.Well, it seems the culprit that anthropomorphized our yellow friend was none other than Husband himself. He'd been to the dollar store and gotten these accessories for our little friend. Rather festive, is it not?
I love it--why not? Makes te hydrant stand out even more.
ReplyDeleteI have seen some hydrants painted as though they were toy soldiers, but have never seen one dressed!
There's a town not too far from here where every hydrant is painted in a unique way.
